

After all of the looking around, the best bridesmaid dress--BY FAR--was the one Ya-Ya had originally chosen. It's classy, comfortable, makes sense with her wedding dress (which has similar crystal beading). It breathes. The gauzy fabric moves well. It looks great in the color she chose. In that top photo, I'm wearing it a size too big, but in the right color. Here's the actual size, in a different color:

Also. Um. David's Bridal says I need to sew in bra cups, and they would like to charge me $20 for this. !!!!!!!!!!!!. I can totally sew in my own bra cups, thank you. Where do you buy the cups, though? Somebody told me David's makes the dresses in crazy proportion--too long, too saggy, too tight--to force us into paying for alterations. Damn the man! Bra cups for the people!
